Summary

My name is Michael Kontraros, I reside in Athens, Greece where I was born in 1980. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at the age of 22 and a Master’s Degree in Art & Design/Visual Communications and Interactive Media at the age of 23. Since 2005 I have my own business and have been working as a freelance graphic designer / illustrator, but what really won me over is the magical world of miniature sculpting.

Following my passion, I have sculpted numerous fantasy themed miniatures and vignettes, taking part in many prestigious model shows around the world. Attending these shows over the years I have been asked by many people “if they can paint some of my sculpts, if I would be willing to produce some of my figures, or if starting my own company was something I would consider”. Seeing the warm welcome I have received and the interest of the modeling community, in 2013 I decided to start a miniature company of my own.

A company dedicated to producing and selling high quality figures for collectors, sculptors and painters, “Michael Kontraros Collectibles” will offer sculpts and figures in a variety of scales basely for fantasy enthusiasts
